Clearview Elementary Leadership Students Visit Retirement Centers, Food Pantries

Leadership students at Clearview Elementary organized a spirit week where kids were asked to wear different things to school each day and also do an act of kindness. The students also were asked to bring in holiday cards for nursing home residents and also canned goods for local food pantries.

The students collected over 300 holiday cards and over 250 canned goods from the Clearview Elementary student body.

The Leadership students, along with staff members Michelle Rice, Cheryl Spratt and Beth Smith, visited retirement centers to distribute Christmas cards on Wednesday, Dec. 20, after school.

The students paid visits to Grandview Healthcare Center and the Homestead at Hickory View. They passed out cards to residents who were available to visit with.

The Leadership students also visited the St. Francis Borgia food pantry to donate food items that students at Clearview Elementary collected.
